What to put in the email
- The measured variable and the span you actually need (not the maximum the process can reach)
- Process temperature, pressure and whether the line is cleaned in place
- Media: what it contains, is it abrasive, does it coat or crystallise
- Output and wiring: 4-20 mA, HART, Modbus, how many wires are already in the conduit
- Hygienic or hazardous-area requirements, with the directive or standard you must satisfy
- Quantity and timing: one spare, a line retrofit, or a project of N lines
What you get back
- A shortlist of two or three options with the deciding factor for each stated plainly
- The limitation that will end the option's life, written next to it
- Datasheets and dimensional drawings for the options shortlisted
- A sample for a bench or line trial where the application is one we can support
